Yesterday saw over 500 attendees come to the ICC, Belfast to attend leading tech conference, TechTides (11th June). Building on the success of its inaugural 2025 event in the North West, the event was a landmark occasion for the NI tech ecosystem and Belfast tech calendar.
The day included an international speaker line-up which featured Hermione Way, former Head of Communications at Tinder, Cathy White, founder and CEO of CEW Communications and Gabriela Matic, co-founder of global innovation agency Metta. The event also featured a startup pitch competition, showcase and an evening social.
Topics covered over the day-long programme included AI and how it is actively reshaping entire industries from fintech, regtech and insurtech through to the future of education. The conference also explored the startup journey on what it takes to build, fund and scale a company and the role that community connection and the wider ecosystem play in making that possible.
